Heeeehhh

Such an adorable baby!

"It’s all kinds of these profound things crashing on you when your child arrives into the..."

““It’s all kinds of these profound things crashing on you when your child arrives into the world. It ropes most of us natural folks in like bugs to a flame but is it any better for our children than regular baby food? So much so that its worth the extra money?

I did a bit of reading to find out and according to this article by livestrong.com, organic food prevails over its non-organic contender simply because of the lack of unnatural pesticides used in their foods. Their fruits and vegetables aren’t showered in harmful chemicals and even their livestock are spared the unhealthy chemicals in their food and are even granted far better living conditions. Being big on proper animal treatment and care, that put a wide smile on my face. So I kept reading. Apparently the unnatural pesticides and antibiotics used on and in non-organic foods have been loosely linked to diseases and decreased immune systems in babies.

Of course I wanted to look into that a bit more since one website’s claim is another’s argument but after reading similar stories on eHow and live-the-organic-life I’m convinced that Organic baby food is the way to go.

What do you feed your baby? Would you consider going organic? Why or Why not?

Also, have any of you tried making your own baby food? It’s something I’m considering and would love to hear your success (or fail) stories. =)
